Business continues despite clashes between government and insurgence.
Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org) - Two civilians were killed and another injured after fighting broke out early morning on Saturday between Somali government forces and insurgents.
The fighting comes after government forces entered the Bakara Market, the main market of Somalia.
“Gunshots were heard along with heavy explosions and almost streets coming in and out Of the market were deserted while business activities discontinued” said Bashir Ghani, a local reporter in the Bakara Market.
All the day, there was sporadic fighting but the activities of the market resumed after all, say a merchant speaking to insidesomalia.org from his shop.
People in Mogadishu are concerned on the security situation especially the main entrance of Howlwadag and Bakara junctions, where almost skirmishes between government forces and insurgents occur.
